L.A. Noire is one of the most unique games I have played till now on the PS3. It is an action and adventure crime solving game, where the player takes control of a Los Angeles Police department’s officer and solves various cases to gain a higher rank. The game is set in Los Angeles and the year is 1947 so you would surely love the vintage cars and buildings shows in it.
The main character, Cole Phelps is just a regular patrolman at first with another partner, Ralph Dunn but as you would advance further in the game, the Chief of police will promote you to a higher rank. Every case involves interrogation with other suspects, searching for clues and some action too.
Since L.A Noire is published by Rockstar games, it also has a free-roam environment where you can cruise around the city and explore new areas. It is also heavily inspired from the movie Noir that was released around 1950s and has a similar plot to the game. If you have been a previous fan of the Rockstar games such as the GTA franchise, then you would surely love L.A Noire too.
